Yeah, I just woke up. Takes a while for the pun train to get working.

Today, Siliconera uploaded new shots of the recent character added to Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. It shows the character Momiji off in the new Sky City Tokyo level. The level looks nice and I hope the games rerelease is at least at a lower price to entice new players.

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be released by Tecmo Koei this Fall for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Go beyond the break for screenshots of Momiji and the Sky City Tokyo level. Thanks to Silicnoera.

Tecmo Koei revealed details about the latest rerelease of Dead or Alive 5 called Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.

The game will include all the extras from the PS Vita version (minus the touch screen mechanics), Momji from Ninja Gaiden will be a playable character and a new stage called Sky City Tokyo which is Ninja themed.

The game is confirmed to be on the Xbox 360 and PS3 at press time but no actual date except this Fall.

Dead or Alive 5 is available now on PS Vita, Xbox 360 and PS3.

I really really want the Wii version of this game but sadly all we get here in the states is the PSN rerelease of the classic game.

That’s right, following the game being released on the PSN the sequel is being released tomorrow on PSN in North America. I would wonder if it’s the same in Europe but you guys got the Wii version so be happy.

Today, Tecmo Koei announced that they are bringing Dynasty Warriors 8 to North America and Europe this summer.

The game features extra endings, extra modes, new characters and story and everything you love about the Dynasty Warrior series. I would say more but the press release basically says the same things I did but with 7x the amount of paragraphs.

The games come out on July 12th in Europe and July 16th in North America for Xbox 360 and PS3. Above is the cover art for the PS3 version but both covers are identical.

Toukiden, the hunting game from Tecmo Koei and developer Omega Force, will release in Japan on June 27 for PS Vita and PSP and cost 6,090 and 4,800 Yen, respectively. The game will also be available digitally for 5,400 and 4,500 Yen.

Along with the release date, a PS Vita bundle was announced called “Onigara” which includes a PS Vita, a copy of the game, and a DLC code. The bundle will be available for 24,829 Yen.

PS Vita players will be able to try a demo starting April 2.

The PlayStation Vita version of Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland is available for download from the US PlayStation Store starting today.

The release comes out of almost nowhere since Tecmo Koei never actually announced a localization. However, the Australian Ratings Board rated the game a while ago, hinting at a localization, and PEGI rated it yesterday.

The game will run you $39.99 and include “Angel Swimsuit” and “Devil Bikini” DLC’s for free until April 16. Thanks, PSLS.

Today it’s raining here in CT, but in the launch trailer for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge it’s raining blood.

In this port of the Wii U version of the game you get all the extra’s, fixes, and many other things that version got. Hopefully this one does better for reviews than the previous version did last March. If you want to try the differences the demo’s for both versions are now available and the Razor’s Edge demo will allow you to bring over skills and karma points to the retail release. I hope you spend that time productively and not just staring at Ayane the whole time.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will be released by Tecmo Koei on April 2nd in North America, April 4th in Japan and April 5th in Europe for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Go beyond for the Trailer.

Today Tecmo Koei announced that they will release a demo for the upcoming PS Vita port of Dead or Alive 5 in North America and Europe.

The demo will feature such features as cross play battles with the PS3 version, 8 stages of combat actions, the ability to try out the touch combat mode, and transferring their save data to the full game to continue the story.

You can also unlock costumes for the game. So far this is looking to be a action packed game and from what i’ve seen the touch combat looks great. There is no date set for the demo’s release as of press time.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be released by Tecmo Koei in North America on March 19th, March 20th in Japan, and March 22nd in Europe.
