I need to explain something. when you make a female version of a character, you need to make it female. Shape, look, style and design. What you do not do is add female hands, legs and a miniskirt made from the jacket the character. All I ask is if you going with sexy legs add hair and a sleeveless version of HUNK’s outfit.

In case you cannot tell, I think the first paid character DLC for Resident Evil: Revelations HD is stupid. The first DLC pack features a character called Lady Hunk who is HUNK with lady legs and hands and a mutated Rachel. The 2 characters will cost $2.99 or 240 MSP. Also announced are weapon upgrade packs for Jill, Jessica and Parker at .99 or 80 MSP and Raid Mode specific weapon upgrade packs for 160 MSP or 1.99. If you go beyond the break you can see why I am confused by Lady Hunk.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be released by Capcom on May 21st in North America, May 23rd in Japan and Australia and May 24th in Europe for the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.

Tuesday, Capcom released the demo for Resident Evil: Revelations. The Demo is available on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U and seeing as I have nothing else to do all day I decided to try all the console versions to see how they all handle.

Phoenix Wright faces his Dual Destinies this Fall

Today, Capcom unveiled that the latest Phoenix Wright game will finally be coming to the West… Digitally.

Yes. The latest game subtitled Dual Destinies will be released only through the eShop. The decision for this might be due to low sales of the previous series as digital releases only need translation and some work before being sent to the shop rather than producing carts, box art and various other things which would effect the bottom line.

The game takes place 8 years after the last game and has Phoenix and his team investigating the destruction of a courthouse. The game is being planned for a Fall release window.

Resident Evil: Revelations HD Demo coming May 14th &15th

Capcom Unity’s blog announced the worldwide demo release of Resident Evil: Revelations HD.

The Demo will be released on Xbox Live, North American PSN, Steam and Wii U Ware on MAy 14th and European PSN on May 15th. My apologies to European PS3 customers but once again blame Sony.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be released by Capcom on May 21st in North America, May 23rd in Japan and Australia and May 24th in Europe for the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.

Remember Remember Me’s preorder combos

Yup. That joke never gets old.

Capcom put a video on it’s youtube page showing off the preorder bonus of combo moves for Remember Me. If you ever played Street Fighter then these combo’s seem familiar. The Dragon Punch, Flash Kick and Spinning Bird Kick are used by Ken Masters, Guile and Chun Li respectively. I cannot believe my knowledge of things like this actually came into play.
However the bonus’s can only be preordered from Amazon, Best Buy and Steam.

Remember Me will be released by Capcom Worldwide on June 7th for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360.

I feel like I’ve been here before.

Today, Capcom posted a new trailer/Vidoc for Remember Me showcasing memory theft. It showcasese the many things you can do with the memories you get. The game is looking amazing and seems like Capcom is making good decisions when it comes to this game and I cannot wait for it launch this June.

Remember Me will be released by Capcom in North America on June 4th and Europe on June 7th for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360.

RE: Revelations rocks out Dragon Ash Style!

Yeah… The news day is very, very slow.

In Japan the band Dragon Ash will be working with Capcom to make a music video for the song ‘Trigger’ using scenes from the game Resident Evil: Revelations meaning Capcom has decided to skip a step and just make their own AMV’s with the game. The trailer will debut in mid May but a preview has been posted below.

Lost Planet 3 screenshots make me feel cold as ice

New screenshots for the upcoming game Lost Planet 3 were released today.

The shots show off the icy terrain, weapons, gameplay, multiplayer aspects, monsters, enemies and that sweet, sweet mech combat. Let’s home the game will not dissappoint when it’s released this summer.

Lost Planet 3 will be released by Capcom on August 27th in North America and August 30th in Europe on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game has a 2013 launch window in Japan.

Okami news, a twitter account in stated that some news on Okami, a PS2 and Wii hit, will be announced next week.

The tweet stated (thank you AGB for translating)

Hello, this is Okami news. Sorry I’ve been kind of out of touch lately, but I have the feeling we’ll be able to drop a fresh announcement like WHAM! around the beginning of Golden Week, so please look forward to it. Right now we’re on track with preparations.

So… What could it be? 3DS port? Release on XBLA? A whole new game? I guess we find out next week.

Today, a new trailer showing off Lost Planet 3′s multiplayer was released.

The trailer show’s off the many features including customization, a possible horde mode, huge areas and mech combat. I love mech combat and any game involving mech combat is OK in my book. The game is looking great and I cannot wait for it’s launch this summer.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen shows off it’s enemies

Capcom Unity was nice enough to post a new video detailing the brand new enenmies in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Where as I would tell you the enemies, they tell you in the video saving me some time writing this!

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be released by Capcom via disc or download on April 23rd in the US, April 26th in Europe and April 25th in Japan for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Anyway, this morning it was announced that Monster Hunter will be getting a free to play MMO in China. The game will be published by Tencent rather than Capcom.

No release date has been announced.

Ace Attorney 5 has no objection to E-Capcom exclusives

Today, E-Capcom Japan announced a ton of special editions for Ace Attorney 5 exclusive to the E-Capcom shop.

These special edition include a replacement jacket at random with the highest tier edition getting all. the Regular Edition only comes with the game, the Extended Edition comes with Deformed characters Deco stickers and a NAruhodo style pouch, The Figure Edition comes with a 1/10 scale Phoenix Wright figure and the Limited Edition comes with everything I listed above. This is also just after preorder costumes for Phoenix, Apollo and Kokone were announced as well, so Ace Attorney fans grab your wallets!

Ace Attorney 5 will be released in Japan on July 25th for the Nintendo 3DS. NO North America or Europe release has been announced.
