“The player is a criminal in a post-apocalyptic near future, sentenced to a million years of hard labor, fighting for his freedom,” a Japanese press release reads according to a NeoGAF user, “By completing missions where you rescue civilians and allies who have been captured by huge enemies known as Abductors, you can reduce your sentence.”

The game supports a maximum of 8 players at a time in both co-op and competitive modes, and players all over Japan can play together via the Wi-Fi and Adhoc.

The announcement was accompanied by a new less mysterious trailer and a few screenshots.

Anyway, DICE has released case art for the PS4 and X1(Yes, That is what I will be calling the Xbox One since that looks better) game Battlefield 4 and this might be a sign of what the case borders might be. The design for case borders is one of the things that changes every generation and it seems to be the case here.

Both the PS4 and X1 will be released this year.

This is not unusual due to some downloadable games being released on discs in Japan and Europe. The disc version will cost about 3,990 yen and is being called a limited edition but nothing has been announced about it’s contents.

Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles Of Mystara will be release by Capcom for the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, Nintendo Wii U eShop and PC this June worldwide.

The trailer shows off the many Youkai in the game and so far it’s looking like a cute game from the team behind Ni No Kuni and Dark Cloud. Let’s hope this gets imported to the West people.

Youkai Watch will be released by Level 5 on June 11th in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS.

After having my fix of First Person camera and nightmarish ambience with tribal drums, it’s quite refreshing to see all this stuff. Makes sense, since you’re a badass samurai now.

Negotiating with demons seems to be more complex and the Game Over sequence apparently grants you some benefits in exchange for macca. It also seems like the battle continues even if the main character gets incapacitated.

I hope the NA team delivers the same intensity as the japanese voice acting. I’m expecting a cuteness overload from Jack Frost.

Shin Megami Tensei IV launches on 23rd this month for Nintendo 3DS on Japan. NA gamers can get it on July 16th. No specific date for EU.

The system will contain a 500gb hard drive, Blu Ray drive, built in Wifi, an 8-core processor and 3.0 USB ports. The system will also come standard with the newly upgraded kinect and a newly rebuilt controller. Sadly, the game has no Backwards compatability due to the processor but at least Microsoft explained why the system has no BC rather than just tell us it’s selling us our old stuff. Microsoft also states it will still support the 360 with games and apps.

Killer is Dead will be released by Kadokawa games in Japan on August 1st, Xseed games in North America in Summer 2013 and Deep Silver in Europe in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
