It’s always a pleasure to talk about action games. Look, for instance, on the daring leap that Santa Monica has taken with this game. A multiplayer mode in a franchise with five big entries focused solely on single-player. Sure: it’s Sony. They’ve got money.
Even so, it doesn’t hurt to play it safe, specially when you’ve got a potential God of War 4 or Descent or… Betrayal HD.

Dontnod Entertainment’s Remember Me has received a new story trailer, along with some concept art.
Also known as IF Prototype LQ-84i, this mechanical beast plays its part in the main game’s narrative from both sides of the intense cybernetic war. Owner of a sentient and superior AI compared to his mass-produced clones, Bladewolf struggles to become more than just a pawn in Desperado‘s plans.
In the other hand, Platinum hasn’t shown the same resolve to create this side-story.

I have ran out of ways to say how insane this game is. It’s not even funny how insane it is now.
Yesterday, Kadokawa games detailed the first run bonus’s which will be included with Killer is Dead in first run copies. The first item is Betty, a fourth mondo girl who is a vampire and has the gigalo mission Bloodsucking Tempress, the second item is Episode 51: The Man Who Stole the Blood which will also feature Betty and the final item is an indestructible pair of gigolo glasses called the Super Mondo Eye which no matter how displeased you make a girl they will never break.
All this game needs is a girl from space, a ninja temptress and a pirate princess and it hits a 10.0 on the fetish meter.
Killer is Dead will be released by Kadokawa games in Japan on August 1st, Xseed games in North America in Summer 2013 and Deep Silver in Europe in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Today, Corocoro Magazine and Serubii.net revealed new information about Pokemon X/Y including 4 new Pokemon!
The first details are about trainers in that you can customize the skin and hair of your male or female trainer. This ties into the whole global launch I believe allowing everyone to make their own unique trainer. No idea’s on if you can customize clothes colors though but that would be cool.
The second bit of news is in the form of 4 brand new pokemon. gogoat who is an grass type, Elikiteru which is a electric type, Yayakoma who is a flying type and Yancham who is a fighting type AND a panda. So far these new pokemon look amazing and I cannot wait for the release this fall.

A teaser site for the recent game Fairy Fencer F was opened up.
As you know since I only reported it once, Fairy Fencer F is the first title under the Galapagos line and is a sort of Japanese gaming industry who’s who with Yoshitaka Amano for concept designer, Nobuo Uematsu’s band Earthbound Papa’s and character design from Neptunia artist Tsunako. So in short start praying to whatever god you believe in that this comes to the west.
The site only show’s off it’s pedigree right now so I will just post a screenshot of the site above along with the site address since the link function sucks with me.

Yeah, I just woke up. Takes a while for the pun train to get working.
Today, Siliconera uploaded new shots of the recent character added to Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. It shows the character Momiji off in the new Sky City Tokyo level. The level looks nice and I hope the games rerelease is at least at a lower price to entice new players.
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be released by Tecmo Koei this Fall for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I love Sonic The Hedgehog. I own the SatAM series on DVD, the original games on Genesis and I even own many of the Archie Comics series so I am happy as a clam that this is not just some throwaway port like the GBA version.
The 3DS verison will contain additions like the spin dash from Sonic 2, the ability to switch the audio from the Model 1 Genesis to the Model 2 Genesis, the ability to add a filter to make your screen look like an old school TV, save states, the ability to choose between the international and Japanese version as well as having the ability to set the style of 3D.
The game releases next week in Japan for 600 yen and no international release has been announced yet.
Oh and go beyond the break because guess what? WE GOT SCREENSHOTS!
