I need to explain something. when you make a female version of a character, you need to make it female. Shape, look, style and design. What you do not do is add female hands, legs and a miniskirt made from the jacket the character. All I ask is if you going with sexy legs add hair and a sleeveless version of HUNK’s outfit.

In case you cannot tell, I think the first paid character DLC for Resident Evil: Revelations HD is stupid. The first DLC pack features a character called Lady Hunk who is HUNK with lady legs and hands and a mutated Rachel. The 2 characters will cost $2.99 or 240 MSP. Also announced are weapon upgrade packs for Jill, Jessica and Parker at .99 or 80 MSP and Raid Mode specific weapon upgrade packs for 160 MSP or 1.99. If you go beyond the break you can see why I am confused by Lady Hunk.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be released by Capcom on May 21st in North America, May 23rd in Japan and Australia and May 24th in Europe for the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.

Yakuza 1&2 coming to Wii U

Announced last week during Nintendo Direct Japan, Sega is bringing the Yakuza 1&2 HD Collection to the Wii U.

The set will feature the first 2 Yakuza games with all the upgrades done on the PS3 version along with the ability to play the game on the gamepad and see the maps on the gamepad. The Yakuza games have been released overseas as well so a North America or Europe release might be possible.

Yakuza 1&2 HD collection will be released by Sega in Japan for the Wii U in 2013. No international release has been announced. The PS3 version is available now in Japan.

gowfeatIt’s always a pleasure to talk about action games. Look, for instance, on the daring leap that Santa Monica has taken with this game. A multiplayer mode in a franchise with five big entries focused solely on single-player. Sure: it’s Sony. They’ve got money.

Even so, it doesn’t hurt to play it safe, specially when you’ve got a potential God of War 4 or Descent or… Betrayal HD.

Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection coming to NA July 9th

Today Konami released the release date for the North American release of the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection.

This set comes with nearly every single MGS game available on the PS1, PS2 and PS3 and a 100 page artbook with promo art from around the globe. The set will retail for $49.99 and be 2 discs long. Above you can see the set.

Owner of a sentient and superior AI compared to his mass-produced clones, Bladewolf struggles to become more than just a pawn in Desperado‘s plans.

In the other hand, Platinum hasn’t shown the same resolve to create this side-story.

Killer is Dead Japanese first run bonus’s announced

I have ran out of ways to say how insane this game is. It’s not even funny how insane it is now.

Yesterday, Kadokawa games detailed the first run bonus’s which will be included with Killer is Dead in first run copies. The first item is Betty, a fourth mondo girl who is a vampire and has the gigalo mission Bloodsucking Tempress, the second item is Episode 51: The Man Who Stole the Blood  which will also feature Betty and the final item is an indestructible pair of gigolo glasses called the Super Mondo Eye which no matter how displeased you make a girl they will never break.

All this game needs is a girl from space, a ninja temptress and a pirate princess and it hits a 10.0 on the fetish meter.

Killer is Dead will be released by Kadokawa games in Japan on August 1st, Xseed games in North America in Summer 2013 and Deep Silver in Europe in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Fairy Fencer F screenshots plus site live

Today, or yesterday it’s different time zones to be honest. The site for Dairy Fencer F went live.

The site shows off the first screenshots of the game. The shots show off the battle systems menu design, the main character facing monsters and a piece of location art. The game is shaping up and has a lot to live up too with it’s pedigree.

Fairy Fencer F will be released by Compile Heart in 2013 in Japan for the PS3. No word on a international release.

New Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn images feature locations and monsters

Square Enix has released new screenshots and artwork for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The new images include artwork of Bahamut, Odin, and new monsters, as well as screenshots of the locations that can be found across the city states of Eorzea.

A Realm Reborn is scheduled to enter the third phase of closed beta testing in June. Beta phase three will introduce PlayStation 3 users to the game for the very first time, where they will be able to experience the world of Eorzea alongside PC players due to the game’s cross-platform functionality.

Resident Evil Revelations HD Demo arrives today!

Today, Capcom will release the demo for “Resident Evil Revelations HD” which will arrive later Today on Xbox 360, Steam, and Nintendo Wiiu, and Tomorrow, the 15th on Playstation 3. Players will be able to download and try out what some Resident Evil fans declare the best game in the series since the original trilogy.

Resident Evil Revelations is an HD remake of last years acclaimed 3DS title, “Resident Evil Revelations”, which stars both of the original Resident Evil characters, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. The game was well received, which prompted Capcom to bring the once portable only title to the living room; (Or bedroom).

“Resident Evil Revelations HD” also will be able to connect to the online service called “ResidentEvil.net”, and get content and use other online features. You can pre register right now on the service.

“Resident Evil Revelations HD” demo will arrive today, May 14th, and the game will launch on May 21st 2013.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 gets GOTY edition

It’s been revealed that Square Enix will be releasing a Game of the Year version of the 2012 hit Final Fantasy XIII-2. Now I will not review the game since If I did this site would be shut down in 5 minutes by the amount of swearing I would do.

The GOTY will include all the story DLC, coliseum DLC, costume DLC, and weapon DLC and be available as a digital download and a physical release along with a greatest hits version of the game which is the standard game and be a physical and retail release as well. There is no announcement of whether this will come to North America or Europe.

Final Fantasy XIV shows off many things

Square Enix released a ton of news this weekend about A Realm Reborn: FFXIV.

The first enemy type called Primal will use popular summons from the series itself as an enemy type. It is believed that this type will be a high tier enemy requiring multiple people to defeat them. The second called Beastmen are not from the popular He-Man cartoon but various elemental creatures that seem to dwell in the area’s of the Primal’s. The third piece of news is the reveal of new locations in the game and the final piece of news is that a release date will be announced along with collector’s edition news later this month.

A realm Reborn: Final Fantasy XIV will be released by Square Enix worldwide thiw summer for the PC and PS3.

Final Fantasy X-2-HD might not have The Last Mission?

Today. Famitsu reported that Final Fantasy X-2-HD will be based off of the North American version.

This raises questions on if X-2 will contain the content from the International version of X-2. To know about the varying versions of the game then go check out Anderson Silva’s in depth articles on the Final Fantasy X series. It’s some very good reading.

This raises the other question on whether the extra’s from the International edition will be included as DLC, also if that is the case then Square Enix have learned from EA. Do something stupid until your company is known for being the biggest dick on the planet.

Final Fantasy X HD remaster will be released in 2013 for the PS3 and PS Vita.

Resident Evil: Revelations HD Demo coming May 14th &15th

Capcom Unity’s blog announced the worldwide demo release of Resident Evil: Revelations HD.

The Demo will be released on Xbox Live, North American PSN, Steam and Wii U Ware on MAy 14th and European PSN on May 15th. My apologies to European PS3 customers but once again blame Sony.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be released by Capcom on May 21st in North America, May 23rd in Japan and Australia and May 24th in Europe for the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.

Remember Remember Me’s preorder combos

Yup. That joke never gets old.

Capcom put a video on it’s youtube page showing off the preorder bonus of combo moves for Remember Me. If you ever played Street Fighter then these combo’s seem familiar. The Dragon Punch, Flash Kick and Spinning Bird Kick are used by Ken Masters, Guile and Chun Li respectively. I cannot believe my knowledge of things like this actually came into play.
However the bonus’s can only be preordered from Amazon, Best Buy and Steam.

Remember Me will be released by Capcom Worldwide on June 7th for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
