Final Fantasy X-2-HD might not have The Last Mission?

Today. Famitsu reported that Final Fantasy X-2-HD will be based off of the North American version.

This raises questions on if X-2 will contain the content from the International version of X-2. To know about the varying versions of the game then go check out Anderson Silva’s in depth articles on the Final Fantasy X series. It’s some very good reading.

This raises the other question on whether the extra’s from the International edition will be included as DLC, also if that is the case then Square Enix have learned from EA. Do something stupid until your company is known for being the biggest dick on the planet.

Final Fantasy X HD remaster will be released in 2013 for the PS3 and PS Vita.

Final Fantasy X-2 HD looking better and better

Today, new screenshots from final Fantasy X-2 HD were released.

The screenshots show off Yuna, Rikku and Paine in all their epic, awesome glory. Oh, and theres some scenery shots but I think that the girls are the highlight of this set. Let’s hope the Cutscenes look just as good when the game is released this year.

Final Fantasy X HD Remastered will be released by Square Enix in 2013 for the PS3 and in 2 parts for the PS Vita.

Cast magic missile with the Wizard in Dragon’s Crown

Today, Atlus showed off the wizard in Dragon’s Crown.

Low on physical strength but high on magic power, the wizard can cast spells to destroy it’s enemies. He has area of effect spells and one on one spells. So far I think if I can get 4 wizards on one team we could be invincible.

Dragon’s Crown will be released by Atlus in Japan on July 25th and North America on August 6th for the PS3 and PS Vita.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in a Flash shows off new characters

Today, Falcom showed off a few of the new characters in the latest Legend of Heroes game.

The first is Gaius Worzel who is encouraged to enter the Thors Military Academy while the second character named Claire is from the Train Military Police and works under Girias Osborn. Below are screenshots of these new characters.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in a Flash will be released by Falcom in Japan later this year for PS# and PS Vita.

Guacamelee! – Review

gua5After numerous adventures through alien-infested caves and haunted elegant hallways, I’ve been thinking of how the same platformer structure would work in different setpieces. It is something that made me realize the importance of the metroidvania genre in this current generation. After all, Other M and Mirror of Fate are gradually straying from their 2D origins.

If anything, this could be a greater example of the genre’s success if it wasn’t so short! DrinkBox isn’t at fault for this, though.

Today, Atlus revealed a new trailer showing off it’s elf from Dragon;s Crown.

First off, I think she is the most sensibly dressed person. Second, I think if I do play this game then she will be my choice character. She has long range attacks, fire attack and the ability to attack at long range in mid-air. I love her.

ffxx2Not everyone is resting easily while Square Enix develops Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster. The fact that both games got exclusive content in a Japan-only release still makes most NA and EU fans wary of what could be potentially cut because reasons.

To make you guys aware of this situation and make some noise, I present you Operation Full Throttle: a non-profit fan initiative intended on convincing Square’s developers to release the games across all regions without removing anything.

Dragon’s Crown releasing in NA on August 6th

August is looking like a bloodbath.

We have in one week Pikmin 3, Tales of Xillia and now Dragon’s Crown. The game is now set for a August 6th release date in North America for the PS3 and PS Vita. The game will have the ability to transfer saves between the consoles in the future.

No news on the Europe launch date. The game will launch in Japan on July 25th from Atlus.

A scan from this weeks Jump Magazine shows off Final Fantasy X-2 Remastered.

The image shows off some amazing pictures of the YRP crew. So far the character models seem very improved over the original PS2 models. Let’s just hope we see the game come out soon.

New screenshots were released today for Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP. Well, screenshot.

For some reason most screenshots from AGB come as this one big bock sometimes. However it seems the cuteness has overrided my sense of complaining. The pictures show off the menu’s that I cannot understand since I do not speak Japanese, characters posing, and some gameplay. This gmae is looking more cute every time I see it to be honest.

Since I feel the screenshot alone is not enough, luckily they also released the opening o the game online on the company’s youtube page.

Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP will be released by Compile Heart on June 20th in Japan for the PS Vita.

With the re-release of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster, it would be nice to tell you what exactly is new in the package and what was already there back in the old Playstation 2. This game is one of the weaker examples of software revisions and updates before DLC was commonplace in the industry, with Square Enix being one of the most fond of such practices.

The sorceress casts spells in Dragon’s Crown screenshots and video

New screenshots and a trailer detailing the sorceress from Dragon’s Crown were released today.

The trailer shows off the sorceress casting spells, attacking with her staff and defying the laws of physics in ways that could get me fired for explaining.
