The patch is available for download from Xbox Live now.

The patch fixes a series of bugs within the game, including the save system and an error in the “Homeless” side mission, and improves the frame rate. It can be downloaded from Xbox Live now.

A PlayStation 3 patch will be released in the coming weeks.

Konami also announced that Silent Hill: Downpour will be available for download on Xbox Live Games on Demand from October 30 for $39.99.
