It was announced this morning that the PS Vita, a console that I have stated as over priced is getting a price drop.

The price drop is 24.980 yen for the 3G/Wi Fi version and 19,480 for the Wi Fi version. This may translate to a $50 price drop for North America and Europe but no official announcement has been made by Sony of America or Sony of Europe.

the price drop goes into effect February 28th 2013 in Japan.
